I’m Kirstin, and I’m thrilled to finally introduce myself as a Colorado-based elopement and micro-wedding photographer! Recently, I traded in my Ohio roots for the stunning landscapes of Colorado, and let me tell you, I feel like I’ve landed in a photographer’s dream. A little background on me: before moving to Colorado, I spent years honing my photography craft in Ohio. Working with couples, families, and individuals back home helped me develop a storytelling style that brings out those authentic, candid moments—like when the mountain breeze catches a veil just right, or when laughter fills the air during a quiet forest ceremony. It’s those in-between moments that make your story unique, and I’m here to capture them in all their beautiful, messy, real glory.
Beyond my camera skills, I also bring a blend of project management experience and a degree in psychology to the table. I know—what does psychology have to do with elopements, right? Well, it actually helps me understand how to read the room (or, in this case, the mountainside) and to work with each couple in a way that feels natural and comfortable. And project management? That’s where my attention to detail and organizational superpowers come into play. Whether it’s scouting the perfect location, planning around Colorado’s ever-changing weather, or making sure every shot is seamless, my background gives me the flexibility and foresight to handle anything that comes our way.
