Writing about yourself is always a bit funny. But until we have a chance to actually get to know each other, here's a few things about me: 

I am a mom to an adult son and dog, both of which I love (and spoil) immensely! I also love food, wine, travel and photography!

Photography has been a long time love for me, but I just started doing it professionally a little over a year ago. When I started my photography business I had no idea it would turn on a light inside me that has been out for so long! I love doing portraits, but to say I was hooked on weddings from the first one, is an understatement! I fell so hard in love with every second that I could not wait to do my next one. The next one came, and the feeling was the same! I’m not sure that I have the words to express what it means to capture such special memories for my couples. My "why" has a lot to do with my photography style. My goal is to create timeless photos by capturing the moments of the day in a way that tells the story of your day. My favorite photos are the ones that make you have all the feels when you look back at them!

As far as the experience for my couples: I have a zillion years of customer service experience. I feel the ability to excel in customer service is not something you can learn, it’s a talent you are born with. My educational background is in psychology and social work. My professional experience spans from serving/bartending to project/event management to mental health. These three things are why I think I do well with weddings. I can (usually) see the problems (and more importantly the photography worthy moments before they happen), I can calmly (and with a smile) deal with the issue at hand, and navigate all the personalities that are involved. Weddings don’t have to be stressful! Weddings, like life, I say all that to say… I’ve got you! Your job on the big day is to relax and take in every single second! My job is to make sure you can do that!
